Workshop details:
In this workshop, participants will master the keys to make their resumes attractive to potential employers. Participants learned about the various kinds of resume formats and the keywords specific to their industry. They also learned how to highlight and quantify their accomplishments and how to create a resume to reflect a career transition. The session culminatde in participants crafting a clear career objective statement and making revisions to their resumes. Participants also received feedback on their resumes.

For the first time, the BMA partnered with Georgia Institute of Technology to bring our members an academic and real world look into today’s marketing culture. Our 2009-2010 kick-off luncheon featured Dr. Goutam Challagalla, the Associate Dean for Executive Education and Brady Family Associate Professor of Marketing at the College of Management, Georgia Institute of Technology.
Dr. Challagalla focused his lecture on three main points:
• Navigating the changing landscape of sales and marketing as well as best practices on how the two functions can work together
• Using social media best practices in a B2B setting
• Learn how to drive your market, rather than being market-driven
